Thanks for visiting my blog! A little bit more about me and what I do.... I started writing this blog 7 years ago. It started as a collection of recipes and restaurant reviews for friends and family, and has now grown into what it is today - it's still essentially reviews and recipes, but I've started my own pop up restaurant in the meantime so there's quite a lot about that on here now too. I'm also compiling a cookbook which I hope to publish next year, so excuse the lack of recipes on my blog at the moment, as I try and divert them to my book.

As well as writing my blog,
I also run pop up restaurants all over London and the UK, and you can find details and tickets for those here. They are now the number 1 rated pop up on Grub Club and I've had some lovely reviews written about my pop ups:

In 2017 and 2018 I did pop ups on Tresco, Isles of Scilly, in September, at the Andaz Hotel in Liverpool Street, at interior designers Bert and May's warehouse in Hackney, at the Chelsea speakeasy members club Barts, at wine bar 68 and Boston in Soho and many in West London.

My next pop up (with tickets left) is a BYOB celebration of all things delicious from the Lisbon in Portugal.

Private catering clients have included River Island's Style Studio, Pandora Sykes, MoneySuperMarket, Bert & May, the French Tourism Board and Farmdrop, amongst others, as well as many happy hens, birthday girls, boys, ladies and gentlemen, wedding anniversary celebrators and lots more! I also wanted to mention posts about products or places I have been invited to review. Lots of the reviews I write are of places I have found myself and paid for myself. However, I am lucky enough to be invited to places too, though I will only ever write about these on my blog if they live up to my (high) standards, and are places I think you might enjoy. I will always mention if I haven't had to pay for something! I also go to a lot of places that don't feature on the blog - if I don't think they're worth you going there, then you won't read about them here. And if I've been invited to review somewhere and don't enjoy it, then I write an honest post and email it to the PR company who invited me to that place. This blog isn't for shaming, it's for recommending, so that's what I do!

Recently I've been asked to write for a couple of websites and cookbooks which is really exciting! I've written a recipe using peppers for The Great British Pepper Cookbook, wrote a series of recipes based on Fifty Shades of Grey for The Daily Mail and I'm now writing for new foodie website Try This For, as well as contributing to the Time Out London blog. I've also started working with various brands, including Filippo Berio, TeaPigs, Sipsmith, Cointreau, Farmdrop and others, who supply products for me to use at my pop ups. As well as this I've had the chance to travel to Tuscany to taste freshly harvested olive oil, and to Japan to learn more about sake and food. Earlier this year I gave a talk on blogging and business at Marie Claire's Work Live event, and I've previously talked all things food at Wells Food Festival.
