“All great women of our time achieved great things because they dreamt, dared, and created.
I am Laetitia Casta, and with Cointreau we created the Cointreau Creative Crew to reveal your creativity, in order for you to achieve your dreams.”
Today, Laetitia Casta and La Maison Cointreau announce the official launch of the Cointreau Creative Crew £20,000 Grant Scheme as part of the worldwide philanthropist programme that will see Cointreau champion creatives and encourage them to make their dreams a reality.
Last year, Cointreau’s Creative Director Laetitia Casta and Cointreau created the Cointreau Creative Crew with the support of UNESCO Artist for Peace Guila Clara Kessous, as they shared the same values: a passion for creation, a belief in self-expression and free-thinking, as well as a willingness to challenge the rules with panache and vitality. When Laetitia Casta first embarked on this campaign, her main desire was to ‘inspire women to dare to be themselves’ by fulfilling their dreams. With the support of Cointreau, Laetitia Casta is currently fulfilling her own personal dream of making her very first film and wants one lucky creative to feel the same self-fulfilment she has experienced by doing so. This desire has now become the cornerstone of the Cointreau Creative Crew’s mission and why Laetitia Casta feels so passionate about launching the first Grant to help a new talent realise their dreams too.
The official opening of the Grant Scheme is today, and will see one entrepreneur will be awarded with a £20,000 bursary to support a creative project. Those who express creativity and passion in their area of expertise - whether it is art, music, design, film, food, or even cocktails - can apply for the grant at www.CointreauCreativeCrew.com.
As part of the Grant Scheme, Laetitia Casta has recruited a Creative Committee of Experts to judge the first round of the competition by choosing the ten finalists from the participants that have applied online, and I'm very excited to say that I am one of the committee of experts alongside Rémy Cointreau UK’s marketing director Eleonore Moreau, Cointreau’s knowledgeable brand heritage Manager Alfred Cointreau, Tamika Sewnarain, brand manager at Rémy Cointreau Africa, TV personality and philanthropist Nick Ede and the Cocktail Lovers editor Sandrae Lawrence.
The Cointreau Creative Crew Grant Scheme Grand Finale will then take place on the 24th May 2016 in Central London, when the Grand Jury will meet with the ten finalists in person, before crowning the winner of the £20,000 Grant Scheme. The Grand Jury will be selecting the winner by following the Cointreau Creative Crew’s Dream, Dare, Create criteria. Dream: How ambitious, avant-garde and authentic are you? Dare: How innovative and driven are you? Create: The quality of your presentation and the quantity of elements created to make your dreams come true. The program is open to all creatives who have a dream they want to materialise: whether it’s launching a clothing line, opening your own restaurant, or becoming a professional photographer or filmmaker.

The Cointreau Creative Crew jury will be accepting one project from each participant and only from people who are able to attend the Grand Finale event on 24th May 2015 in Central London, where they will be asked to present their projects. On the 24th May, Cointreau will also announce and award the participant with the most online votes with a creative trip to Paris.
